Starlink referral link: how it works

Starlink’s referral program runs on personal links, not typeable coupon codes. Each customer gets a unique URL in the Starlink app, and when a new customer orders through it, both sides receive a month of free standard service.
Some links on this page are referral links. If you sign up through them we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect the data shown or the order in which providers are listed.

What the link does
Opening a referral link takes you to the normal starlink.com order page with the referral attached. You will see a banner confirming the referral was applied before you order. The price you pay is unchanged; the free month arrives as a service credit 31 days after activation, deducted from your invoice.
Who qualifies
- You have never had a Starlink account before.
- You order a Residential or Roam plan directly on starlink.com.
- Your address is available now, not waitlisted.
- You stay a paying customer for at least one month after activating.
Link or code — which is it?
Both, in a sense: the link contains a referral code (the RC-… value in the URL), but there is no field at checkout to type it into. If someone hands you a bare code, ask for the full link instead — the URL is what registers the referral.

Does a referral link cost the new customer anything?
No. The order price is identical with or without a referral. The difference is the free month of standard service credited after 31 days.
Can I use a referral link on a Business or Priority plan?
No. Starlink limits referral credits to Residential and Roam plans (Roam 100GB, 300GB and Unlimited).
