One mechanism reliably gets you a free month of Starlink, it is official, and it never runs out: the referral program. A couple of others come and go regionally.

1. The referral month (always available)
Order through an existing customer’s referral link, activate, stay a paying customer for the first month — and a month of standard service is credited 31 days after activation. The person who shared the link gets the same. Residential and Roam plans, direct orders on starlink.com only.
2. Regional promotions (sometimes)
Starlink periodically runs address-based offers — discounted or even free hardware in select regions, and service-credit bundles. They show up automatically on the order page when your address qualifies; no code exists. Starlink has also run country extras before, like an Australian gift-card top-up that ended in December 2025.
What does not exist
- No free-month coupon or promo code.
- No free month for switching from another provider.
- The 30-day return window is a refund mechanism, not a free month — you pay and are refunded if you return the kit.
