What is actually available
The referral program: one month of free standard service when you order through an existing customer’s link. It is not military-specific, but it is real, official and stacks with nothing because nothing else exists.
Third parties sometimes discount their own work — independent installers may take something off labour, and accessory shops sell mounts at military pricing through GOVX. None of that touches Starlink’s own prices.
Why the myth persists
Most US telecoms run military pricing, so the assumption travels. Starlink instead prices per region and applies the same number to everyone at the same address, which is also why no senior or first responder discount exists either.
